A Message of Gratitude
I want to take a moment to share my thanks to each of you who has supported our mission to uplift youth in our city. Your dedication, time, and belief in our mission to see the potential in the next generation.
This past year has brought its share of challenges. We have faced obstacles that felt overwhelming at times. However, it is through these tough times we've realized the true strength of our community support. Thanks to your support, we have been able to provide essential resources and opportunities to our young people.
Reflections on Our Journey
Looking back, we have not reached our goals but look forward to expanding in 2026 to implement our mentorship programs. Our vision was simple: to empower young people to believe in themselves, pursue their passions, and create a brighter future.
The past year, we hosted our first annual cooking class for the youth, we have had over 6 community events in which the youth came out to help us feed, clothe and bless the unhoused in downtown Orlando and we also collaborated with another local non-profit to host "You Never Know What Kids Are Gonna Say". Our 9th Annual Toy Drive/Dodge Ball Game was a blast once again with the community coming together to donate toys and play dodgeball in a festive setting. Each designed to offer a safe space for our youth to learn, grow, and express themselves. Each gathering has not only been an opportunity to engage but also a celebration of our community’s spirit.
The stories that have emerged from these experiences truly stand out. For example, one on the kids from the cooking class said they now want to become a chef! The young people are always so excited about feeding the unhoused and you can see how proud they are to bless others that are unfortunate. These success stories shine a light on the creativity and determination of our youth.
Our Community's Impact
Each of you plays a vital role in this movement. Whether you’ve volunteered your time, donated funds, or simply spread the word about our mission, your contributions are invaluable.
We fed, provided toys, haircuts, provided hygiene products and clothes to over 930 over the past year in the City of Orlando.
Our annual holiday toy drive/dodge ball games is always a success last Christmas providing over 390 toys to children of West Orlando.
Each success, no matter how small, is a testament to the effort our young people put in and the belief that supporters like you have in them.
The Power of Your Support
As we approach a new year, the need for continued support remains crucial. Every dollar, every hour of volunteer work, and every act of encouragement is what keeps our mission alive. If you have not yet become involved, I encourage you to take that step. Your engagement can create lasting change in the lives of our youth.
Consider the skills you can share, the experiences you can provide, or just simple words of encouragement. Every action contributes to our goal of ensuring that every young person knows they are valued and capable of achieving great things.
We are asking for anyone who can become a monthly donor for as little as $10.00 per month would be a blessing!
In closing, let me remind you: every young person has potential. It is our job to help them discover and give them to tools to help make it a reality. Let’s continue working together to ensure that our youth can become all that they dream to be!
